Keith - Voltron: Defender of the Universe 1984 English

Keith, who was an officer in the Galaxy Alliance's Galaxy Garrison Service, was the commanding officer of the scouting team that was dispatched to the planet Arus by the Galaxy Alliance specifically to re-locate Voltron, about which, or rather whom, only legends were known by that time. His team's ship was shot down, and its five members were captured by the forces of the planet Doom. [1] After escaping from Doom, Keith and his team's other four members wound up back on Arus, where they first met Princess Allura and Coran in the Castle of Lions. He and his team were organized into the Voltron Force, and Keith took command of the team, briefly taking control of the Green Lion before turning it over to Pidge and becoming the pilot of the Black Lion. Keith commanded his team throughout King Zarkon's attempts to conquer Arus and destroy Voltron, dealing several defeats. Keith developed a personal rivalry with Lotor, whom he first met face to face in a duel a few miles from the castle. The only things we know about Keith specific to the time before the series begins is that he and Jeff were equals on the shooting range at the Academy, and that he had an irrational fear of getting lost in forests that stemmed from childhood which he later needed to conquer to rescue Princess Allura.
