Shad Gregory Moss, who uses the stage name Bow Wow, is an American actor and rapper. Snoop introduced Moss to producer Jermaine Dupri, who signed him to So So Def Recordings in 2000. Moss released his first album, Beware of Dog, under the name Lil' Bow Wow. He won a Billboard Music Award for Single of the Year for his song "Bow Wow (That's My Name)". Moss also acted in the 2002 sports movie Like Mike with Crispin Glover.
