This is an RVC drum model trained using Dream-High's Pytorch implementation of "RMVPE: A Robust Model for Vocal Pitch Estimation in Polyphonic Music" and the BeatzForge pretrain on the drum stem of "Mega Man", which is a rap song by Jay Eazy, released on January 7, 2023. It was initially teased with a promotional TikTok video on January 4. The song's lyrics reference the video game series of the same name, and the instrumental is based on the beat "Mewtwo" by justxrolo. The song also received an exclusive official music video published by RARI DIGITAL on March 15. After the release of the promotional video, X user @getanewcomputer posted a tweet with the caption "don't worry mario rpg drops november 17[!!]", featuring a YTPMV set to "Beware the Forest's Mushrooms" from Super Mario RPG using the aforementioned video as the source. Following this tweet, "Mega Man" became a major meme on the internet, mostly revolving around other YTPMVs using the promotional video.
RVC drum models work like RVC voice models, except the purpose of RVC drum models is to change the sounds of one drumkit into that of another.
