This is an RVC drum model trained using Dream-High's Pytorch implementation of "RMVPE: A Robust Model for Vocal Pitch Estimation in Polyphonic Music" and the Snowie V3 x Rin_E3 pretrain on the drum stem of “GODS”, the official anthem of the League of Legends 2023 World Championship, made in collaboration with popular K-pop girl group NewJeans. Notably, they are the third overall K-pop girl group to work with Riot Games following (G)I-DLE in 2018, and TWICE in 2020 respectively—unlike both groups, NewJeans collaborated on this song not as part of the League of Legends-affiliated band, K/DA. Backed by suspenseful production, the song illustrates the mounting pressure that players at Worlds must confront as they face off against the most elite players and teams, depicted as “gods”. Initially announced on September 27, 2023, there was some concern that NewJeans' usual soft vibes wouldn’t match the atmosphere of a Worlds anthem. However, Creative Director Carrie Dunn explained in a statement: Between Worlds [2023] taking place in Korea and NewJeans’ meteoric rise, this partnership felt fated as a true cultural celebration. ‘GODS’ juxtaposes epic and intense production elements with NewJeans’ beautiful and powerful vocals – conveying both the grind and the glory that awaits our players at Worlds.
RVC drum models work like RVC voice models, except the purpose of RVC drum models is to change the sounds of one drumkit into that of another.
