The lead ship of the Yorktown-class aircraft carriers. Despite clapping the Imperial Japanese Navy's 4 aircraft careers at Midway, she got torpedoed by a Japanese sub after the battle, causing her crew to abandon her along with Hammann, one of her destroyer escorts who too got hit by a torpedo. In the anime, she survived...as an amputee. Voice lines taken from the English dub of the Azur Lane anime, with majority of them generated using ElevenLabs since she only had like 15 seconds of dialogue.
