Hanying is the crystallization of Kowloong's mechanical technology, and is infinitely close to human in appearance. She once lived aboard the Nighter and befriended Pulao and the other ship's inhabitants. Until recently she has lain dormant in the Church of Machina, but has now finally awakened, joining them under the codename "Hanged Man".
